
Often, teens are looking to be understood and find others who can relate to their struggles. Parents of teens sometimes feel they cannot understand why their teens are disconnected or temperamental. At ARFC, we take a relational approach to solve adolescent challenges and provide a safe space for teens to be heard and connect with their families on a deeper level.
Therapy can be a place for teens to express their concerns, explore relationship challenges and even discover more about their identity as they prepare for adulthood. Teen therapy sessions can lead to greater confidence and more connected family relationships.
Some teens may be hesitant to try therapy at first, but our services aim to help every client feel safe, welcomed and non-judgmental. This requires our therapists and families talking about the process of therapy and determining not only the therapeutic goals of the family, but also allowing teens to have a voice in what they would like to get out of therapy services.
